Wilder Heart is an American whiskey made with nothing added and made to be opened. Strictly whiskey. Within it lies an untamed spirit: the belief that adventure isn't measured in miles and the wild isn't a place. It's a mindset.
An American whiskey, a minimum of four years old, bottled at 94 proof, made from corn, rye, wheat and malted barley with limestone-filtered water and yeast, and nothing else, with a Cask Strength at 117.5 proof. No coloring, no sweeteners, no shortcuts. Peach and apricot lead on the nose, with red apple and soft vanilla on the palate, and a bright, gentle finish.
Wilder Heart was co-founded by Nate Woodruff, from Whisky with a View, who also hosts the brand's podcast. The whiskey is blended and bottled by Wilder Heart in Tennessee.

Nose
Peach and apricot, brown sugar, cinnamon and fresh orange peel.
Honey, cherry and blackberry, with floral and light herbal notes.
Palate
Red apple, citrus and soft vanilla, with a hint of roasted marshmallow. Wheat for sweetness, rye for lift, corn to round it out.
Tart cherry, baked apple, brown sugar and butterscotch, with warmth building slowly.
Finish
Crisp apple and lemon peel, a little spice and a gentle, lingering warmth.

Nate Woodruff
Co-founder and podcast host
Nate Woodruff is co-founder of Wilder Heart and host of the brand's podcast. A whiskey enthusiast and storyteller, he built the Whisky with a View community, where he has spent years tasting, reviewing, filming and talking whiskey with the people who make it and the people who enjoy it.
For him, whiskey is so much more than what's in the glass. He co-founded Wilder Heart to make whiskey that belongs outdoors and in the moment.

Doug Ward
VP of Sales and Strategy
Based in Texas, Doug runs the brand day to day and is responsible for its commercial vision. A whiskey brand veteran in his own right, he was one of the first four employees at WhistlePig, where he started out on the distribution side and finished as national brand ambassador.
